Daniel Boone School Board asks for help in budget crisis

EDUCATION In meetings, schools hope for budget help
The R-1 School District spends 83 percent of its yearly budget on personnel. Next year, they may have to cut 10 percent of their total budget, which could force cuts in classrooms. Across the state, administrators are contemplating school budgets as the Colorado Department of Education has promised deep cuts to funding.
